I have had a passion for castles since primary school. Our Dad took us to loads and I collected all the guide books, wrote about them in school projects and drew them. Framlingham was one my Dad took me to several times. In late 2018, at 60, I was on a dog walk in Framingham and on a whim asked about volunteering as a guide. Home from home! I have expanded the role since by initiating and co-leading a research project on the workhouse inmates who lived and worked within the Castle walls.
